Gene Affected interleukin 2 receptor gamma (Il2rg)
Origin The strain having a Endonuclease-induced mutation in Il2rg gene was established by TAL effector nuclease obtained from Dr. Yamamoto at Hiroshima University.
Strain characteristics This strain shows severe combined immunodeficiency caused by a 7-bp deletion in the exon 2 of Il2rg gene.
