Origin BAC (RNB2-297P05, containing rat Nanog gene) vector was injected into Iar:Wistar-Imamichi rats. The construct is as follows: Venus-IRES-puromycin resistance gene.
Strain characteristics Venus (YFP*) fluorescence can be detected in the Nanog-expressing cells (inner cell mass of blastocyst and primordial germ cells).
Breeding Conditions maintained by mating between Tg rat and wild type Iar:W-I
