Origin This strain was generated at the Institute of Medical Science, University of Tokyo, by using CRISPR-Cas3. Microinjected into pronuclear-stage rat embryos of the F344/Jcl strain. The embryos were transferred into the oviducts of pseudopregnant females. A strain with a 1,869 bp deletion in the Il2rg gene was established from the resulting litters.
