This strain was created at the Institute of Medical Science, University of Tokyo using the CRISPR-Cas9 method.
F344/Jcl rat fertilized eggs were microinjected and then transplanted into the oviducts of pseudopregnant females.
From the resulting offspring, rats with the Alb promoter-Cre sequence inserted into the ROSA26 gene were selected and established.
The Alb promoter-Cre sequence is inserted in an inverted position. |
