Origin The SHRSP/Ngsk is originated in the SHRSP given from Prof. Okamoto at Kinki University, Japan in 1980.
Strain characteristics SHRSP/Ngsk is little smaller than SHR/Izm in size. Age of occurrence of stroke is stable, and circulation dynamics and pathological changes are similar to those of SHRSP/Izm. The frequncy of necrosis at the epiphysis is little higher than SHRSP/Izm.
Breeding Conditions Keep with normal SHRSP diet. Sib mating.
