Gene Affected DsRed: red fluorescent protein, GFP: Green Fluorescent Protein, jellyfish
Origin This strain was established at Jichi Medical School. This transgenic rat was originated from Crlj:WI.
Strain characteristics DsRed2/GFP double-reporter transgenic rat driven under a ubiquitous CAG promoter. In this system, DsRed2 expression was replaced with GFP expression after Cre recombinase-mediated excision.
Breeding Conditions Good breeding performance.
Genotyping Genotyping protocol for pDsRed2 Genotyping protocol for LoxP site
