Inbred Line was established in 2009. (Jun 18, 2010) Strain characteristics A Japanese wild-derived rat strain. Comparing of the genetic profile of the DOB rats (F12) with those of the laboratory inbred strains using 357 SSLP markers showed quite high polymorphic rates, which varied more than 90%.
