Strain characteristics |
This transgenic rat aims to establish Venus-labeled GABAergic neuron. There are 2 strains (A line: NBRP No.0554 and B line: NBRP No.0555) and expression and distribution of YFP* (Venus) are different from between the strains. In the frontal cortex, YFP* was expressed in 98% of GABAergic A line and 93% of that of B line. (Uematsu, 2007) (Jun 22, 2009) |
