Gene Affected interleukin 2 receptor gamma (Il2rg)
Origin ジンクフィンガーヌクレアーゼ(ZFN)によりラットIl2rg遺伝子を標的として、F344/Stm系統から作製した。
Strain characteristics X染色体のIl2rg遺伝子の1097bp欠損により、重度複合免疫不全症(SCID)を発症するラット。SPF環境下ではほぼ正常に発育する。
Breeding Conditions 雄ヘミと雌ホモの交配により維持。
Genotyping PCR、電気泳動により判別可能。ワイルド:1509-bp、ミュータント:412-bp。プライマー:TCTCCCAGGGGACTTAGCTTA、TGGGACCTGGTGTTAGGTTT
