食事性高コレステロール血症
今井らは雄Sprague-Dawleyラット(SD/Jcl)から、1%コレステロール、0.2%コール酸ナトリウムおよび5%オリーブ油を加えた飼料を7日間与えると 約250mg/dl程度の高コレステロール血症を呈するラットを単離した。(SDラットは同様な食事で約100mg/dl前後)
3. 表現型・病態
先に述べたように、食事性高コレステロール血症を呈する。
5. 臨床への応用性、有用性
食事コレステロールに応答して血清コレステロール濃度が上昇するので、食品としてのコレステロール摂取における他の食事成分の影響が、高感度で検出できる。
