 Origin The LEXF/FXLE RI strain set has been established by Shisa <i>et al</i> at Saitama Cancer Center Research Institute since 1985. This RI set consists of 34 RI strains derived by reciprocal crossing of LE/Stm and F344/Stm.  
 Strain Characteristics The RI strains are useful genetic tool in gene mapping and analysis of complicated trait genetic diseases. 
 Breeding Conditions Good breeding performance. Sib mating.
