Control Strains
Reporter gene Strains
Gene
DsRed: red fluorescent protein, GFP: Green Fluorescent Protein, jellyfish
Origin
This strain was established at Jichi Medical School. This transgenic rat was originated from Crlj:WI.
Strain Characteristics
DsRed2/GFP double-reporter transgenic rat driven under a ubiquitous CAG promoter.
In this system, DsRed2 expression was replaced with GFP expression after Cre recombinase-mediated excision.
Breeding Conditions
Good breeding performance.
