Gene YFP: Yellow Fluorescent Protein, jellyfish
Origin This transgenic strain was developed at Slc in 1999 and transferred to Keio University in 2000.
Strain Characteristics This strain expresses the enhanced yellow fluorescent protein (YGFP) neuron-specific driven by the Tubulin, alpha 1A promoter.
Breeding Conditions Maintained in hemizygous condition. Usually, transgenic males and SD females are crossed.
