  Control Strains   Reporter gene Strains
Gene HSVtk: herpes simplex virus thymidine kinase, Alb:Albumin
Origin This strain was established at Jichi Medical School.
Strain Characteristics This strain expresses HSVtk (herpes simplex virus thymidine kinase) liver-specific driven by mouse albumin enhancer/promoter. Administration of injection ganciclovir (GCV) in this transgenic rats causes hepatitis.
 Breeding Conditions Male infertility.
