 Gene
Origin The genetic region between D4Rat128 and D4Rat106 of LEC/Ncu was introgressed to BN/Ncu using “speed congenic” method to establish the congenic strain. One QTL which showed very strong linkage to the X-ray hypersensitivity of LEC rats was mapped on chromosome 4 (Agui, 2000). (Jul 15, 2010)
Strain Characteristics The congenic rats don't have the X-ray sensitivity that of LEC rats. (Jul 15, 2010)
 Breeding Conditions Sib mating.
