Control Strains Reporter gene Strains
Gene Arsb: arylsulfatase B
Origin This congenic strain was established by backcrossing MPR/Iar (provided by Dr. Kunieda, Okayama University) to WIAR/Iar
Strain Characteristics This strain does not show organ rejection reaction after organ transplantation.
Under analysis for detailed phenotype.
Breeding Conditions Maintained as segregating inbred strain (Arsb is heterozygous). Arsb-homozygous rats (both male and female) are unsuitable for breeding.
Genotyping Sequence analysis to detect one-base insertion of C, resulting in right contiguous "C" from nucleotide 664 in the exon3.
Primers: Primer F (GCGAAGAACCTGAAAAGAG) and Primer R (TGCACACACACACACACACA)
PCR condition:80℃ 15min, 94℃ 5min, (94℃0.5min,60℃ 1min,72℃ 1min)×35cycle, 72℃ 7min.
